The Green Mountain Covenant
Codename: Carla book 1
When former Navy demolitions expert Angela Bayard became a counter-terrorist operative, she expected more than playing an online porn queen named “Carla” to lure an elusive arms dealer. Then on one bad night, she simultaneously blew her carefully developed cover and accidentally killed the arms dealer she was supposed to bring back alive.
To atone for her botched assignment, Angie is sent to Vermont on a thankless mission to bodyguard FBI informant Dr. Brandon Cope. In three days, she’s run off the road by a werewolf, attacked in her sleep by a monster of her childhood nightmares, and the man she’s sent to protect meets with a shocking demise. The only clues to the mystery are a generations-old society thought to have anti-government leanings and an 18th century sword everyone seems to want. Angela realizes there may be something other worldly to the origins of Vermont and that secret could lead to massive devastation. A new kind of war is about to begin and Angie is the only human being who can stop it.
